About Me
I'm a therapist offering a warm, thoughtful and non-judgemental space to explore what is happening in your life, your relationships and within yourself.
I bring many years of experience supporting people through significant and sometimes challenging life experiences, both in the UK and abroad. Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a Mental Health Nurse across a range of settings, which gave me a broad understanding of people, relationships and the different experiences that can shape our lives.
Alongside my therapeutic work, I work for a fostering charity, supporting children, young people and foster families. My experience has also included working with people living with chronic and life-limiting illness, those approaching the end of life, family members and carers, and people experiencing grief and loss.
My work spans parenting, fostering and family life, couples work, group work, neurodivergent people and families, and periods of significant transition or change. I have a particular interest in how we understand ourselves and our relationships — shaped as they are by culture, background and identity — and in the ways we can become stuck in patterns that no longer serve us.
I take a neuro-affirmative approach, recognising and valuing neurological differences rather than viewing them through a deficit-based lens. I aim to create a space where neurodivergent clients can bring their whole selves, without needing to fit into a particular idea of how they should think, feel or relate.

Learn more →My approach
I work within a Transactional Analysis (TA) framework — a relational and collaborative approach to therapy built on a simple but powerful idea: that we are all fundamentally OK, worthy of respect and capable of change, however difficult things feel right now.
TA looks at the patterns we develop early in life — in how we relate to others, how we see ourselves, and the roles we find ourselves playing — and how these patterns continue to shape our relationships and choices as adults. Some of these patterns serve us well. Others keep us stuck, repeating dynamics that no longer fit who we are or what we need.
